What we do

Three services, one tidy contractor

A trowel laying mortar on a red brick wall

Smart air bricks

We replace old air bricks with smart, sensor-controlled units that keep the under-floor space dry while cutting cold draughts and heat loss.

How it works
A digital monitor showing room temperature and humidity

Damp and mould sensors

Small wireless sensors that track humidity and temperature room by room, so condensation and damp are caught early, before mould takes hold.

Smart air bricks

A small change at the bottom of the wall

Homes with suspended timber floors rely on air bricks to stop the timbers getting damp. Ordinary air bricks are open all year, so cold air pours under the floor in winter. A smart air brick has sensors and a vent that opens and closes on its own, letting moisture out without letting the heat go with it.

  • Fewer cold draughts up through the floorboards
  • Under-floor timbers kept ventilated and protected from damp
  • A low-disruption energy measure that can count towards a property's EPC rating
  • No wiring and no electrician. Almost all of the work is outside
  • A typical house is done in a morning

Manufacturer field trials report an average reduction of around 12% in whole-house heat loss. Results vary from home to home.

Damp and mould sensors

See the problem before the tenant does

Mould starts with moisture that hangs around: drying washing, cooking, a blocked vent, a cold corner. Wireless sensors record humidity and temperature in each room and flag the conditions that lead to condensation and damp.

  • Early warning of rooms at risk, so problems are fixed while they are small
  • A clear record of conditions over time, useful for landlords and agents
  • Quick, tidy installation with no wiring
  • Pairs with smart air bricks and our maintenance work, so we can act on what the sensors show

  1. Tell us about the property

Email or call with the address and what needs doing. For air bricks, a few photos of each outside wall is all we need.

We count the bricks or list the work from your photos and send a fixed price before anything is booked.

  3. Book a date

We arrange access with you or your tenant and group nearby jobs into one visit.
